Hi, my name is Brian and welcome to my profile page.I live in Dumfries, SW Scotland.
I am a motor mechanic to trade of 22 years, in that time I worked in 3 main dealerships BL/Austin Rover, Ford & Vauxhall, also in that time I was a Mot tester for about 16 years. Got out the trade back in 1999 and started a catering business.
In 2020 during lockdown our catering bookings were wiped out, so I had to do something to fill my time, so I started restoring motorbikes as a hobby, I started with a old Suzuki GS125 I had lying in my back garden. A couple of bikes later I started posting the rebuilds on YouTube as The Wee Baldy Biker.
Two years later what started out as a hobby
was turning into a business idea, the wife
was due to retire from our catering business and things hadn't picked up since lockdown, so I took the plunge and here we are. Been into motorbikes for over 40 years and just got my full bike licence December 2020 lol. That's me with my 1993 Suzuki RMX250 in the photo, just had got it, I was like a bairn at Christmas.
